The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Tamila Mertskhulava took part in the regular meeting of the Association of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the North Caucasus Federal and Southern Federal Districts, which took place from October 19 to October 21, 2018 in Arkhyz village, Karachay-Cherkess Republic.

The meeting of the Association was attended by 18 regional chambers, including Rostov and Astrakhan regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, Taganrog, Republics of North Ossetia-Alania, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Adygea, Dagestan, etc.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation was represented by Oleg Kolesnikov, Commissioner for Work with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

Issues of further development of the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the North Caucasus Federal District, the implementation of the project “Service for the Public Accreditation of Educational Programs” and a number of other issues were discussed at the meeting.

During the meeting, elections of the chairman of the Association of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the North Caucasus Federal District were held by the decision of the leaders of the chambers, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Kazbek Tuganov was unanimously re-elected to the post of chairman for another 5 years.

Kherson Simoniya - specialist of External Relations and Investments Department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia was part of the Abkhaz delegation as well.
