On 30 of August in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia held a meeting with a representative of the JSC "Tander" (shops "Magnit" in Russia) by Dmitri Profatilov. The event was opened and held by adviser of the President of CCI of RA Tamila Mertshulava.

The meeting was held jointly with the trade representative of Russia in Abkhazia Yuri Aikin. This event was organized in order to assist in the development of bilateral trade relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation. At the meeting were invited manufacturers of domestic products. The main topic of discussion was the question of possible direct shipments of fresh fruits, vegetables and citrus from Abkhazia, as well as increase the volume of deliveries of Abkhazian production on existing contracts.
