​Konstantin Ozgan was a significant person in our country. He led Gudauta district committee of the Communist Party, was a member of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia, was the first Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Economy. In recent years he headed the Council of Elders of Abkhazia.

Konstantin Ozgan made a significant contribution to the struggle for the liberation of the country during the Georgian-Abkhaz war in 1992-1993.
