On the 22-nd of august 2013 our compatriot currently living on the territory of France Alina Ashuba-Béthune and chief financial and administrative director of “Expedit” company, her spouse Jean-Christophe Béthune were appointed to the post of the official representatives of the Chamber of commerce and industry of the Republic of Abkhazia to France. They will be representing the interests of non-governmental, non-profit organization – the Chamber of commerce and industry of the Republic of Abkhazia, which will promote the development and strengthening the national economy. Besides creating favorable conditions for making socially oriented, regulatory market environment and entrepreneur’s infrastructure in the country, the Chamber of commerce and industry is engaged in international cooperation processes like: links with foreign partners, export of goods and attraction of foreign investments. Now all this abovementioned activities will be carried out by the new representative of the CCI of RA in France- Alina Ashuba-Béthune and Jean-Christophe Béthune.

At the meeting there were discussed possible ways of cooperation which can be favourable for both sides. The president of the Chamber of commerce and industry of the Republic of Abkhazia stressed that: “it is necessary to maintain regular contacts not only on the political but also social level, such kind of interruction can lead to  formation of commercials offers, strengthen business relations and will be mutually-beneficial for both sides.”

The representatives of the CCI of RA was sharing with their ideas and thoughts with a great enthusiasm, Alina Ashuba has finished the meeting saying: “We express our readiness to work, cooperate and represent the interests of Abkhazia and CCI of RA with a huge dignity in France. After the meeting the president of the CCI of RA presented informational brochures about Abkhazia, information about the cci activity and some investment projects, stressing that it is important to tell the world about Abkhazia, its history, customs and traditions. Newly-made colleagues found the information really useful and interesting.
