The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Tamila Mertskhulava is on a two-day working visit to Turin,Italy. At the invitation of the President of the CCI of Torino, Vincenzo Ilotte Tamila Mertskhulava visited the Chamber of Commerce of Turin.

Tamila Merzkhulava is accompanied by Kama Tsvizhba, the head of the CCI RA Department of External Relations and Investment.

23 July, an official meeting of the two presidents, Tamila Mertskhulava and Vincenzo Ilotte, took place at the headquarters of the CCI in Turin.

"At the meeting we underlined the mutual aspiration of the parties to expand and strengthen cooperation between the entrepreneurs of the two countries. We also looking forward to further fruitful collaboration between the representatives of our business circles ", - said the president of the CCI of RA Tamila Mertskhulava.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the prospects of business relationships between the chambers, which will aim on developing commercial and economic ties between Abkhazia and Italy.

In 2015, the CCI of RA signed an agreement on mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation with the Turin Chamber of Commerce. In the same year, the CCI RA took part in the IX World Congress of Chambers that was held in Turin.

July 24th, the delegation of the CCI RA visited one of the largest Italian chocolate factory "Ferrero Rocher", located in the city of Alba.
