9 May, at the invitation of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Abkhazia, a delegation led by the official representative of the СCI of RA in Germany, Wolfgang Matzke arrived to Abkhazia on a business occasion. The delegation includes entrepreneurs, General Directors of large German companies and a journalist Thomas Nels.

The guests arrived to Abkhazia to examine the economic potential of the country. They are interested in collaboration with Abkhazia and entrepreneurs are considering investing in different sectors of the country.

10 May the German delegation held a meeting with the President of the CCI of RA Tamila Mertskhulava.

Issues related to the development of cooperation in various fields and the possibility of new investment projects as well as the development of trade and economic relations between the business communities of Abkhazia and Germany were discussed at the meeting.

After the meeting, CCI President RA Tamila Mertskhulava presented gifts to the guests.

As part of the working program, managed by the ICC RA, the delegation held official meetings with the President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba, RA Prime Minister Gennady Gagulia and RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Daur Kove.

The member of the delegation, General Director «M Outsourcing Center GmbH & Co. KG» Mr. Vladislav Stepanov met with the students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at the Abkhaz Sate University with a lecture on "Start-up business" and “Technology in Germany Perspectives and experience".
