Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia and Tunisia signed an agreement on cooperation
On the 19th of December 2013 a very important event happened for the economy of Abkhazia: Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia and Tunisia signed an agreement on cooperation.
At the official meeting between two sides the President of the CCI of Tunisia Mr. Munir Muahar made a speech presenting the economy of Tunisia, gave information about the activities and aims of the CCI of Tunisia, mentioned about the important international events which take place in Tunisia annually.
Mr. Munir Muahar stressed the importance of the signed document as the first step towards development of the bilateral trade and economic relations between Abkhazia and Tunisia.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia expressed his gratitude for the cordial meeting and readiness for establishment and strengthening the cooperation between the chambers. Mr. Gaguliya made a speech on history of the Republic of Abkhazia, the economic situation in the country, CCI activities, its achievements and further work.
Both Presidents of the Chambers discussed the possibilities of common projects implementation, future plans of cooperation and collaboration, including the creation of joint ventures on the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia. They also discussed the issues concerning the customs preferences for the Republic of Abkhazia from the Russian Federation side.
After the long negotiations Gaguliya L.Gennadiy and Munir Muahar signed a cooperation agreement in Abkhazian and French. During the meeting the vice-premier of the Republic of Abkhazia was present. After the meeting the President of Tunisia CCI invited the Abkhaz delegation to the ceremonial dinner.
