The National Assembly - the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia adopted the Law on the Chamber of Commerce and Industry , which defines the general legal, economic and social foundations for the creation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia, establishes the organizational and legal forms and directions of its activities, determines the principles of its relationship with the state.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry has made a significant contribution not only to the development of entrepreneurship, but also to attracting foreign investment to the national economy. The CCI takes part in various forums, international exhibitions, promoting domestic producers, contributes to the popularization of our republic in the international arena, thereby ensuring growth entrepreneurial activity in the country and expansion of mutually beneficial contacts with foreign partners.

Today the CCI unites more than 250 Abkhaz enterprises of various profiles and pays great attention to creating favorable conditions for running business by providing services to all entrepreneurs.

The CCI has created nine guilds, associations and unions to discuss problems and resolve issues in different fields.

On this special day, we should recall the founder and first President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Gennady L. Gaguliya. Thanks to him, our organization achieved high results and earned respect not only within the state, but also within colleagues abroad. The staff of the chamber honorably continues the traditions laid down by the founder and stands for protection of business community interests. The untiring energy of Gennady Gaguliya earned a deserved respect among the people he worked with. Throughout his long professional career, he was always working with full dedication and sparing no effort.
