The delegation from Abkhazia , headed by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Gaguliya L.Gennadiy together with the vice-premier of the Republic of Abkhazia Stranichkin V. Aleksander are visiting Tunisia by the official invitation.The first event was the meeting of the representatives of Abkhazia with the leadership of the Tunissian Agency on Technical Cooperation -with the Director General Mr. Elborni Salhi and programming and projection Director  Mr. Nurredin Bkir.

Director General of TATC made a speech on the current economical situation in Tunisia, stressing the main developed and perspective fields of the countries economy. He highlited  the neccesity of bilatrial information, technical and business relations development between Tunisia and Abkhazia. On the opinion  of TATC leadership, the very important step towards achivement of the mentioned purposes could be the visit of Tunnisian proffessors and experts to Abkhazia with the aim of detailed consideration fo the possibilities of the Republic and exchange of experince with abkhazian colleges.    

Gaguliya L. Gennadiy expressed his gratitude for the cordial welcome and expressed his willingness to promote all the issues, gave information about the investment attractiveness of the Republic of Abkhazia

More detailed information on economy presented the vice-premier of the Republic of Abkhazia. Among the major aspects of the international economy development of Abkhazia he outlined the rich natural resources of the country, favorable tax treatment for foreign investments, as well as the low tax rates, existing in the Republic of Abkhazia.

After the long discussion of the perspectives of the interactions in the sphere of economy, both sides decided that the core sectors can be: medicine tourism, well-known and developed in Tunisia, the exchange of goods, produced on the territories of both countries.

At the end of the meeting the President of the CCI of RA stressed that the current meeting is the informational breakthrough and shows the readiness of Abkhazia to cooperate with Arab countries.
