15 March, the official meeting of the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia with the President of the Republika Srpska, Mr. Milorad Dodik, was held in Banja Luka, the capital of the Republika Srpska.

The Abkhaz delegation is headed by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Gennady Gagulia. The delegation also includes: Abkhazian Minister of Economy Adgur Ardzinba, Deputy Minister of Economy Zaur Gulia, Deputy Minister for Resorts and Tourism Astamur Akhba, Vice President of the CCI of RA Tamila Mertskhulava, General Director of “Avai-agro” Ibrahim Avidzba,R major general Zakan Nanba, the head of the International relations and investments department Kama Tsvizba of the CCI and the specialist Arzamet Lomia of the CCI of RA.

The issues of long-term mutual cooperation between the two republics and the expansion of already established relationships were also discussed.

Within the framework of the visit, the official meeting was held between  the Abkhaz delegation with the Minister for Trade and Tourism of the Republika Srpska, Mr. Predrag Gluhakovich and the Minister of Economy and Regional Development, Mr. Zlatan Klokich.

Within the framework of the previously signed agreement on bilateral cooperation between the two Chambers and after the visit of the delegation from the Republika of Srpska to Abkhazia in autumn 2017, an official meeting of the Abkhaz delegation with colleagues at the CCI of the Republika Srpska was held. The guests were hosted by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Borko Durich. Further cooperation between the chambers was discussed at the meeting.

The official visit of the Abkhaz delegation will last until March 17.
