HEADS OF CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY OF THE REPUBLIC OF ABKHAZIA AND ABU DHABI SIGN A COOPERATION AGREEMENT

President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia,Tamila Mertskhulava is on a working visit to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia visited the international food exhibition "ADIFE 2023" (Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition) that was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of the Abu Dhabi Department of Agriculture and Food Safety.
The exhibition brought together food producers, distributors, importers, wholesalers and retailers, as well as representatives of institutional and commercial catering.
"The exhibition event in Abu Dhabi plays a key role in the development of the food industry and the hospitality sector which significantly affect the economic development of the region. Participants can actively interact with the target audience, get up–to-date information about the market and expand their business circle," Tamila Mertshulava said.
On the sidelines of the exhibition the President of the CCI of RA met with the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ahmed Khalifa Al Kubaysi and discussed issues of joint cooperation.
The head of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry noted that the visit of the Abkhaz delegation to the UAE would contribute to the further development of economic and trade cooperation between the two sides. He stressed the readiness of the Chamber to provide all necessary support for joint cooperation between Abu Dhabi and the Republic of Abkhazia.
In turn Tamila Mertshulava spoke about the activities of her organization aimed at implementing projects that contribute to the economic development of the country. She stressed that the meeting with the leadership of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry is important for the Abkhazian side.
"Our meeting is aimed at exploring and promoting the prospects of joint economic cooperation and providing support to the members of the Abkhazian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to establish ties with enterprises of UAE," the President of CCI of RA marked.
She also noted the high level of development of the industrial sector, tourism, advanced technologies and infrastructure of the UAE. Tamila Mertskhulava invited hercolleagues to visit Abkhazia on a business mission at a convenient time for them.
The meeting ended with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two chambers. In conclusion the parties exchanged memorable gifts.
