The Abkhaz boxer Igor Adleyba won the fight for the vacant WBO World Youth Championship title by beating Eddie Colmenares from Venezuela at the RCC Boxing Promotions tournament in Yekaterinburg.

Igor Adleyba and Eddie Colmenares have been in the professional ring for two years. Prior to this meeting, the Venezuelan boxer had seven fights; won six of them. Igor Adleyba had eight fights in his professional career and as many victories.

The fight was the first title confrontation for both boxers. The height of Eddie Colmenares - 183 centimeters, Igor Adleyba’s - 175 centimeters. The fight consisted of eight rounds.

Igor Adleyba brought the fight to a victorious end and, according to the decision of the judges, became the WBO World Youth Champion.
