In Sukhum was held the presentation of the “Catalog of Enterprises 2017”
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia presented the ninth "Catalog of Enterprises 2017", dedicated to the agricultural sector.
"We are continuing our tradition, but if last year the catalog was dedicated to the resort and tourist areas, but this year we decided to pay attention to agriculture and farmers," - said at the opening presentation the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of RA Gennady Gaguliya.
He said that the village is the foundation of the state, and our traditions and our language will disappear without villages.
“All of us left the village, but today, the exodus from the countryside to the city has exceeded all previous figures. At the present time the peasants living in very difficult conditions and need assistance. That is why we decided to publish a catalog on rural themes, in fact, encourage certain gifts, including owners of private farms ", - stated Gaguliya.
According to him, the catalog combined 1700 enterprises and individual entrepreneurs. They are the ones who voluntarily expressed a desire to include them in a catalog. As a result, the catalog has turned out colorful and volume 255 pages.
"If we compare the current directory with the first edition today the volume it has grown by several times. We try as much as possible to help our businesses, including publishing a catalog, "- said Gennady Gaguliya.
During the presentation, for their contribution to the development of the agricultural sector of the Republic of Abkhazia in different nominations was awarded a number of entrepreneurs.
In addition, for the contribution to the development of entrepreneurship in agriculture diplomas of Chamber of Commerce and Industry and valuable prizes awarded a number of individual entrepreneurs.
At the presentation were the works of Abkhazian artists, writers on rural themes. According to the results Poll guest was recognized the best picture by Lasha Gabeliya. Gennady Gaguliya handed him the cash prize of the CCI of RA in the amount of 20 thousand rubles.
In addition, all participants took part in the drawing of special prizes by the CCI of RA.
