Meeting of the Board of CCI RA
On July 27, 2012 the regular meeting of the Board of Directors was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Board, President of CCI of RA Gennadiy L.Gaguliya. The CCI activity report for the first term of 2012 was presented; ongoing work on establishing external links was also discussed at the meeting. The main issue of the Board agenda was adoption of the CCI Committees provision. With the aim of different kinds of entrepreneurship contribution in RA, as well as the promotion of new economic structures and distribution of the domestic and foreign experience in market economy conditions.
CCI of RA offers to establish a number of public committees. The purpose which is to involve to the process of entrepreneurs problems research and draw up proposals on development of entrepreneurship and more wide circle of specialists, scientists etc.
The first stage is to establish 3 Committees:
- Committee on business activity development and regulation
Doctor of Economics Zaur I. Shalashaa is appointed on the position of the Committee Chairman
- Committee on agricultural complex development and quality of foodstuff
Khatuna K. Shatipa is appointed on the position of the Committee Chairman
- Committee on foreign-economic activity, promotion, transport and expedite promotion
The head of management of the economy and prognostication of Sukhum City Administration Aslan K.Bganba is appointed on the position of the Committee Chairman
At a later date the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia supposes the establishment similar committees for more effective business promotion.
