President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Tamila Mertskhulava took part in the X International Scientific and Practical Conference "Tourist and Recreational Complex in the System of Regional Development". The event was held at the Abkhaz State University and was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of ASU.

The conference is held in a format using remote participation technologies. It is attended by Kuban State University, the Center of the Russian Geographical Society in Serbia, the all-Russian public organization "Public Russian Ecological Academy", the Geographical Society of Abkhazia, the Regional Public Organization "Association of Graduates of Geography Faculties", the Youth Club of the Russian Geographical Society from Krasnodar on the basis of KubSU with the support of the Federal Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Krasnodar Territory, the Ministry of Tourism of Abkhazia, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia, etc.

The conference touches upon topical issues of the current state and development trends of the tourist and recreational complex. The range of issues discussed reflects the tourism strategy of regions and states, the activities of specialized organizations.
