The agreement on cooperation was signed between the “Association of young entrepreneurs of Abkhazia” and the publishing house “Republic of Abkhazia”
December 6, the meeting between the Presidium members of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Abkhazia was held in the conference hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia. Two issues were identified on the agenda - the signing of the Agreement between the non-profit partnership ‘Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Abkhazia’ and the publishing house “Republic of Abkhazia”, as well as the work plan for 2019.
Opening the event, the Chairman of the Association, Kamilla Kvitsinia noted that the organization should start working on specific projects and ideas that would generate interest among young entrepreneurs of Abkhazia. “These can be educational forums, fairs, exhibitions etc. Informational platforms are also important for the organization, where young entrepreneurs could express themselves and talk about the problems they face while doing business in Abkhazia”,-said Kvitsinia.
Therefore, the first publishing house that supported the Association was the newspaper “Republic of Abkhazia”, where Esma Ardzhenia, deputy chairman of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Abkhazia, works as a journalist. She will oversee the work of the organization with Abkhaz Mass Media. She, in turn, presented the members of the Presidium- the editor of the newspaper ‘Republic of Abkhazia’ Yury Kuraskua, thanked him and all editors for supporting the young organization.
“When young people start doing something useful for the country, contribute to the economy of Abkhazia, we definitely need to provide support. We need to talk about the organization, inform our society so that other young entrepreneurs of Abkhazia would like to join the Association. Our newspaper is open to the Association. We are ready to invite young entrepreneurs to the editorial office to talk and write about the problems of business in Abkhazia. The newspaper is published 3 times a week, 15 times a month. I am not a businessperson, but I am convinced that any business needs an advertisement. We have a lot of domestic products and the consumer should know about them”,-said Mr. Kurasua.
Then, the Agreement on cooperation was signed between the Association and the editors; the document was signed by the Chairman of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Abkhazia Kamilla Kvitsinia and the editor of the newspaper "Republic of Abkhazia" Yury Kuraskua.
Members of the organization discussed the work plan of the Association for 2019. Young entrepreneurs decided to conduct a survey among members of the organization in order to understand how each of its members sees the future development of the Association, and its role in it. Moreover, after that there is a need to hold an extended meeting to discuss the work plan for 2019.
The Presidium members stressed that the doors of the Association are open to all who wish to join it (young entrepreneurs), and underlined the necessity to announce it both in the Abkhaz Mass Media and in social networks.
