The Specialists of the External Relations and Investments Department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia held online meeting with colleagues from the Chamber of Commerce of Sao Paulo (Brazil). The meeting was held in order to strengthen trade ties, develop foreign economic cooperation between Abkhazia and Sao Paulo, and find ways of interaction between business circles of both sides.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues of foreign trade, potential for investment and tourism, export and import positions, commercial offers, and economic sector of both countries. The parties exchanged opinions, considered issues of further mutually beneficial cooperation between the chambers. In 2022 Brazil entered the top ten trading partners of the Republic of Abkhazia.
As the results of the event, the parties agreed on further promotion of cooperation as well as signing of a Memorandum of Intent.
