The CCI RA delegation in the Republic of Bashkortostan
From the 26th of March 2014 by the invitation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan and within the framework of realization of the earlier signed agreement on cooperation between the Chambers of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia delegation paid an official visit to Republic of Bashkortostan.
Within the framework of the visit, on the very first day the meeting was held between the delegations of the Republic of Abkhazia and Republic of Bashkortostan.
The vice-minister of economy of the Republic of Abkhazia-Irakliy Cherkeziya; vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia-Soner Gogua; foreign relations and investments Dpt. Specialist- Lorena Adleiba; the business owner of Abkhazia- Unus Duman; the representative of the CCI RA to the Republic of Bashkortostan -Liaisan Nikolaeva took part at the meeting representing the Republic of Abkhazia.
The vice-premier of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the minister of economic development of the RB-Mavrin E.V.; the deputy minister of economic development of the RB-Kizakhov R.V.;vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RB-Barmin P.G. took part at the meeting representing the Republic of Bashkortostan.
During the meeting the set of pressing questions concerning trade-economic relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of Bashkortostan were discussed.
Taking into account that Abkhazia is advantaged for developing the tourism sphere, and the most prior is tourism.
The Bashkortostan side suggested to work out the joint programme project on subsidizing by the government of the Republic of Bashkortostan the tourist vacation packages to the Republic of Abkhazia for attracking tourist groups. There were also discussed the issues on investments facilities, agriculture etc.
The leading sectors of the Republic of Bashkortostan are: fuel industry; chemistry and petrochemistry, power industry; metallurgy; mechanical engineering, agricultural, light and food industry and glasswork.
Today Abkhazia and Bashkortostan have all the necessary potential and possibilities for consecutive and systematic implementation of the stated objectives.The Minister of economic development of the Republic of Bashkortostan stressed the importance of cooperation between Abkhazia and Bashkortostan and stated the necessity to renew and increase the turnover between two Republics, as well as bilateral relations in all sectors.
Sides decided to prepare the project of bilateral agreement on cooperation within the framework of partnership.
