THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY OF ABKHAZIA SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION WITH THE ARAB UNION FOR PRODUCTIVE FAMILIES, HANDICRAFTS, AND TRADITIONAL INDUSTRIES

A meeting between the President of CCI Tamila Mertskhulava and delegation of the Arab Union for Productive Families, Handcrafts, and Traditional Industries headed by Mohamed Kadah Abdul Baset took place in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prospects for the development of joint cooperation between organizations, as well as the possibility of exchanging experience.
Welcoming the guests, Tamila Mertshulava stressed the importance of their visit to the republic and expressed hope that cooperation with this organization will help strengthen ties and benefit all artisans.
According to signed memorandum the parties agreed to contribute to the implementation of joint educational programs, expand partnerships between professional and business circles, and facilitate the organization of exhibitions and conferences.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia and the Arab Union intend to work together on the comprehensive development of national crafts, the introduction of new practices, and the establishment of ties with foreign enterprises.
"This indicates the growing interest in Abkhazian traditional crafts and their potential in the development of the republic's economy," said Tamila Mertskhulava.
