Today, on the 18th of March, 2015, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia celebrates its 13th  Anniversary.On the 18th of March 2002 by the decree of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia Ardzinba V.G. was created the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia.

Gaguliya L. Gennady was appointed as a President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia.

During 13 years the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia signed agreements with more than 80 chambers of commerce and business communities all over the world.

Nowadays the interests of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia in other countries are represented by the representatives of the Chamber in more than 15 countries.

In 2009 the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia became the member of the World Chambers Federation.
