On the 7th of June the meeting was held between the CCI of RA with Parliament Representatives of Turkey at the conference-hall of the Hotel “ Atrium-Victoria”. The main subject of the conference was: The development of trade-economic relations between two countries.

“ The present delegation from Turkey is the third one during the last month visiting our country. It tells us about the interest of Turkey to develop cooperation between two sides. I would like to remind you, that Abkhazia has trade relations with more than 30 countries all over the world , but one of the core trade partners is undoubtedly Turkey” –said the President of the CCI of RA Gennady Gaguliya.

In turn, the Turkish Parliament Deputy Aykan Seferuston stressed that the current visit to the Republic of Abkhazia proves the readiness of Turkey to further fruitful cooperation with the Republic of Abkhazia.

One of the important events of the abovementioned meeting was the signing of the agreement on cooperation between the CCI of RA and the CCI of Sakarya City, Turkey.

“ We are very interested in bilateral calloboration. The signing of this agreement will promote broadening economic, trade, scientific and technical relations between enterprises, organizations, companies and business owners of both Turkey and Abkhazia”,-noted the deputy Chairman of the CCI of RA of Sakarya, Turkey Gunay Gunesh.

At the end of the meeting guests were presented keepsakes and informational booklets, journals in Turkish, comprising the full information about the Republic of Abkhazia.
