The delegation from Abkhazia takes part in the Moscow International Exhibition MITT "Travel and Tourism"
On March 14, the 24th Moscow International Exhibition MITT "Travel and Tourism" was opened on the territory of the central exhibition complex "Expocenter" in Moscow. This exhibition is one of the five largest tourist exhibitions in the world and is always highly appreciated by the international community. The exhibition is held since 1994 and is awarded the mark by the World Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).
For 20 years, industry experts recognize the MITT exhibition as the main event of the country's tourism industry. Every year the best representatives of the tourism business of Russia and the whole world take part in it. It is here that the leading players of the tourism industry show their new programs and key directions on the eve of the tourist season.
Exhibition MITT 2017 occupies 7 exhibition halls and pavilions and in which stands of representatives of travel agencies, tour operators, hotels and reservation systems, corporate customers from organizations and enterprises of various sectors of the economy of Russia are deployed.
The delegation of Abkhazia takes part in this exhibition. The republic is represented by the delegation consisting of the Deputy Minister for Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Abkhazia Astamur Akhba and the heads of the departments of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia: tourism - Inara Daurova and certification, business information, consultations and entrepreneurship - Lana Kiut.
Our republic is represented by a stand in the form of a colonnade on the embankment of the Mahajirs, which is the personification of the sea, the famous Brekhalovka, the hotels Ritsa and Abkhazia.
The stand is represented by the largest tourist organizations of Abkhazia, such as LLC "Apsua-tour", LLC "Garuda Express", LLC "Acetuk travel", LLC "Aqua-Abaza", LLC "Rusalelturs", LLC "Ritsa-tour", LLC "Mistral" Alco, RUE National Tourist Company.
In addition, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented a wide range of products produced in Abkhazia - alcohol and food (different types of wine, cognac and vodka, jams, adjika, tea, honey, asadzbal), as well as printed and souvenir products that cause Great interest and demand from visitors to the exhibition.
To support compatriots, the Ambassador of Abkhazia to Russia Igor Akhba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Cove, the Plenipotentiary Representative of Abkhazia in Turkey Inar Gitsba and the Foreign Ministry employee Tengiz Tarba came to the exhibition.
The 24th Moscow International Exhibition MITT "Travel and Tourism" will continue until March 16.
