The delegation of the Government of Abkhazia, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister Jansukh Nanba, participated in the Russian Investment Forum-2019, in Sochi.

The delegation consisted of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Kove, the Minister of Economy Adgur Ardzinba, Director of the State Investment Agency under the Ministry of Economy Inar Gitsba, the Director of the SC "Abkhaz Shipping Company" Daur Ardzinba and the heads of departments of the ministries of Abkhazia.

The forum was opened by the plenary session “Success Factors: Ideas, Personnel, Competences”, where the head of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev made a speech.

As Dmitry Medvedev stressed, the Forum is focused on concentrating efforts in creating stable rules for business, increasing investments and further improving the business environment: “To ensure investment growth and attract capital to the Russian economy, we will continue to improve the business environment, reduce the administrative burden on entrepreneurs and offer investors new, more convenient mechanisms for expanding their business. ”

The Memorandum of Intent on the development of trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation was signed between the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Administration of the Nenets Autonomous District of the Russian Federation, as well as the signing of the Program of Measures for 2019-2021 between the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Administration of the Krasnodar Territory.
