THE FIRST MEETING OF NP “ASSOCIATION OF YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS OF ABKHAZIA” WAS HELD IN SUKHUM
The first meeting of the non-commercial partnership «Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Abkhazia” was held in the conference hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia.
The idea of creating the Association belonged to the Prime Minister, former President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Gennady Gaguliya. Kamila Kvitsinia was elected as a Chairman of the youth organization on his proposal.
The election of the presidium was included in the agenda of the first meeting of the Association. Young businessmen elected Esma Ardzhenia (individual entrepreneur, producing compotes and jams) as a vice-chairman. The members of the presidium consisted of: Elizaveta Malania (director of LLC “Apsua Tour”), Astan Ardzinba (general director of Sukhum Dairy Factory, Nana Anchabadze (director of the beauty salon “New-Fantasy”), Christina Tarba (orthodontic center “Rideamus”), Sariya Shamba (director of the “Embassy of Beauty” salon), Osman Bartsits (head of Gudauta company “Gudauta-Restyling”).
The elected members of the presidium thanked their colleagues for the trust.
“This is a serious and responsible mission - to be members of the Association presidium. By joining our efforts, we will achieve great results and will be able to implement many projects and ideas. We all face the same business problems. If we are in the same team, we will be able not only to protect our rights, but also to share our experience in running business and raise the economy of our Republic together”,- said young entrepreneurs.
The participants of the meeting thanked the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia for creating the organization and stressed that the Chamber competently builds its work and always tries to help young entrepreneurs. Moreover, it stimulates young people to open their own business and provides assistance in the development of foreign economic relations.
With regard to the work plan for 2019, Kamila Kvitsinia noted that young entrepreneurs should make the maximum contribution to the development of entrepreneurship in Abkhazia. The association will organize meetings with business experts; participate in conferences, forums, seminars, presentations, round tables, both within the Republic and abroad.
- The doors of our organization are open to all. If we work hard jointly, we will reach our goals,”- stated the Chairman of the Association.
Madin Sakania (individual entrepreneur, tea production) spoke about the need to make amendments to the RA legislation on entrepreneurship.
“The state grounds on small and medium enterprises, therefore it should contribute to its development, including the adoption of laws stimulating this sphere,”- believes the young entrepreneur.
According to Denis Samanba, one of the co-owners of the “30 Seconds” store, the CCI’s proposal to take part in the Association’s meeting seemed interesting and promising to him.
- Links often help in business and the more contacts you have, the easier it is to work, especially when it comes to young and ambitious business leaders. Over the years I have gained considerable experience, I have my own views and ideas on how to solve problems,” - said Samanba.
Then, on behalf of the Association, Kamila Kvitsinia congratulated and awarded with diplomas the winners (members of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Abkhazia) of the Russian agro-industrial exhibition Golden Autumn 2018, held in Moscow from October 10 to 13 members of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Abkhazia.
Young businessmen discussed the problems they face during their work, talked about import VAT and state fee, about the need to introduce IT technologies, allowing to make payment from Russian cards to the accounts of Abkhaz entrepreneurs and hotel business owners, thereby ensuring them safe payment for services.
The participants discussed ways of cooperation with each other in the future. The young entrepreneurs exchanged their contacts and decided to schedule a new meeting, tentatively for November 8, 2018.
