The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Tamila Mertskhulava met with the head of the Circassian Diaspora in Lebanon Riad Abdelrazzak (Tsyba), a member of the Abkhazian cultural center "Diwan Abaza" Remzi Gechba and other compatriots from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The topics of discussion were issues of interaction with representatives of the Diaspora living in Jordan and Lebanon and their assistance in the implementation of joint projects.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasized the importance of cooperation with cultural centers in foreign countries and expressed the confidence in further strengthening of their ties with their Homeland.

She also mentioned the project "Abhaz – visit your country" and informed about the upcoming visit of children from Jordan to Abkhazia in the first half of this year. She stressed that the project would be implemented thanks to the representative of the Chamber of Commerce of Abkhazia in Jordan.
Tamila Mertskhulava also expressed hope for "Diwan Abaza" to provide assistance in sending a group of children to Abkhazia within the frameworks of aforementioned project.

The participants of the meeting also discussed different projects and expressed readiness for cooperation.
The guests arrived in Abkhazia on occasion the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the State Committee of the Republic of Abkhazia for Repatriation.
