The meeting was held between the President of the CCI of RA Tamila Mertskhulava and delegation from Turkey, headed by Tahir (Ozben) Leypa, Chairman of Ankara Friendship Club, at the office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia. The visit of the delegation, composed of the Abkhaz compatriots living in Turkey, is for informative purposes only.

The President of the CCI of RA Tamila Mertskhulava shared information on business management and trade rules with the RA , as well as the economic and investment potential of our country.

Issues relating to further development of friendly and trade-economic relations between Abkhazia and Turkey, as well as the possibility of mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed within the framework of the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, guests expressed their gratitude to Tamila Mertskhulava for the warm and friendly welcome they received and presented her a memorable gift.

For reference: The Turkey Friendship Clubs Platform is a non-profit organization whose membership includes officials and businessmen (Caucasians by origin), living in Turkey. After establishing the Friendship Club in Ankara in 1987, friendship clubs were created in Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa, Duzce, Izmir, Kayseri, Adana, Antalya and Bashkent.,

The Friendship Clubs Platform was created in 2013 with the participation of all friendship clubs. Currently, clubs are carrying out their activities under the auspices of the Platform.
