On the 12th of May the Protocols on Friendship and cooperation were signed in Sant'Antioco between cities  Sant'Antioco(Italy) and Sukhum(Republic of Abkhazia), San Giovanni Suergiu and Pitsunda, Calasetta and Noviy Afon.

The signers from the abkhazian side were the heads of Sukhum and Pitsunda City Administrations-Alyas Labakhua and Bedlan Ardzinba, from the italian side were mayors of  Sant'Antioco, San Giovanni Suergiu and Calasetta-Mario Korondiu, Federiko Palmas and Antonio Vigo.

 

The staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Kan Taniya and Tengiz Tarba took part at the meeting , as well as the representative of the MFA of RA to Italy Mauro Murgia, the representative of the MFA of RA Mauricio Kachavilianni and executive director of the Abkhazian State TV and Radio Company Alkhas Cholokua.
