With a view to the implementation of the Agreement between the Government of Abkhazia and the Krasnodar Region Administration on trade, economic, scientific, technical, humanitarian and cultural cooperation dated July 28, 2009, as well as to further development and expansion on a stable and long-term basis bilateral cooperation, increasing mutual trade turnover in 2019 - 2021, the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Krasnodar Region Administration signed the plan of measures for 2019-2021.

The document was signed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia, Minister of Finance Jansukh Nanba and vice-Governor of the Krasnodar Region, Igor Galas.

The three-year step-by-step plan involves the implementation of activities in several areas: industrial sector, field of agriculture, education, science and youth policy, field of culture and Cossacks, field of physical culture and sports development, healthcare, development of the tourism industry and development of civil society.

The parties agreed on the need to promote the development of direct cooperation between the organizations of vocational education and higher education institutions, research institutes, and youth organizations.

Speaking about the agro-industrial complex, the parties agreed to promote the development of livestock in Abkhazia, consider the possibility of supplying food products from the Krasnodar Territory to the Republic of Abkhazia (refined deodorized sunflower oil, mayonnaise, flour, confectionery, canned fruits and vegetables, juices, sausages, semi-finished products, canned meat and much more).
