Agreements on cooperation were signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Retail Market Experts Association. The event took place within the framework of the VII International Forum of Business and Government "Russian Retail Week".

The agreement was signed by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tamila Mertskhulava and President of the Russian Association of Retail Market Experts, Head of the Directorate of the International Business and Government Forum "Russian Retail Week" Andrei Karpov. It was signed with the aim of mutual support of organizations and mutually beneficial cooperation.

The document includes the exchange of consultations, creation of training sites for favorable conditions in the interaction of members of each of the parties, with manufacturers and retailers, as well as other market participants.

Each of the parties will contribute to the provision of comprehensive support in the implementation of the main activities, the implementation of strategic initiatives of the other party, by attracting more participants in the relationship of the parties.

In order to implement the agreement, the parties intend to interact in the following areas:
- organizing and conducting training seminars and other events with the involvement of specialists in specialized areas;

- holding mutual consultations, joint working meetings, thematic seminars, round tables and other events in order to develop proposals on problems of mutual interest;

- organizing the involvement of representatives of the parties in events held by the Russian Association of Retail Market Experts and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, both on the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation and in other areas.

The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry thanked Andrey Karpov for the interest shown and support of the Abkhaz entrepreneurs, who are participating in the international forum "Russian Retail Week" for the second time.

“Cooperation with you will help the Chamber and, first of all, Abkhaz entrepreneurs, in improving the personnel training system, introducing new technologies in the retail sector, in the correct and prompt resolution of conflict situations, in the most effective solution of emerging issues,” emphasized Tamila Mertskhulava.

According to the President of the Chamber, this platform provides an opportunity to improve knowledge, get useful advice from leading Russian participants in the retail market and related industries, as well as learn from the experience of successful companies.

Tamila Mertskhulava and Andrey Karpov discussed the possibility of his visit and leading experts of the organization to Abkhazia to organize thematic sessions for Abkhaz entrepreneurs who are ready to study without leaving the republic.

Particular attention was paid to the organization of consultations on a wide range of issues, research and rating activities, the development of areas of corporate training and coaching, as well as the systemic consolidation of specialists in the most popular areas, such as logistics, IT technologies, marketing.

The VII International Forum of Business and Government "Russian Retail Week" is attended by the head of the Department for work with members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, enterprises and public associations Kira Zekir-oglu, members of the chamber - director of the "PREMIUM market" Laura Gagulia, individual entrepreneurs - Rasim Mikvabia and Timur Mikaya General Director of the furniture shopping center "Royall Mall".

During the four days of the forum, they attended thematic sessions and round tables.

Every year, representatives of trade authorities, top managers of leading retail chains, buyers, manufacturers, suppliers, and analysts take part in the event.
