A delegation from Republika Srpska arrived to Abkhazia with a three-day business visit

The delegation consisted of Dushank Tegeltia-Deputy Minister of Trade and Tourism, Vice President of the CCI Mihailo Vidić, Mayor of the City Zoran -Zoran Stevanovic, Mayor of Bijelina -Micho Michic and representatives of the business community of the Republic of Srpska.  

Dushanka Tegeltia presented the economic, industrial, tourist and cultural potential of Republika Srpska.

Dushanka Tegeltia believes that there is much in common between the Republika Srpska and Abkhazia, both politically and economically. She expressed her hopes for mutually beneficial cooperation.

"We were convinced that our history backgrounds and the struggle for independence are similar. Therefore, we are obliged to establish economic and cultural cooperation. "said Mr. Vidic.

During the meeting Micho Michic presented a film about Bijelin city and it’s economic potential. There are many industrial facilities, private sectors are well developed and new jobs places are constantly being created.

"We deeply respect  such brave people as Abkhazians. Establishing business contacts will only benefit us, "says Raiko Dukic, the head of Smrcak. 

He said that after settling in the hotel room he was waited with a pleasant surprise in the form of Abkhazian wine and fruits. Given the fact that his company is engaged in the sale of goods, Raiko Dukich expressed his readiness to purchase Abkhazian wine and fruit.

Mihailo Vidic expressed his gratitude for hospitality and invited representatives of the authorities and Abkhaz businessmen to visit the Republika Srpska.

The delegation also met with the President of  the Republic of Abkhazia and the Minister of Economy of RA.
