Bagrypsta
Bagrypsta or Bagripsh or Cold River - the village in Abkhazia. Included in the Gagra district (Gagra municipality) of Abkhazia. According to 1959 in the village of Cold River lived 660 people, mostly Russian and Armenians (in Cold River village council - 1430 persons, which also make up the majority of Russian and Armenian). In 1989 in the village lived of 1624 people, also mostly Russian and Armenian.
According to the 2011 census the population of rural settlement (village administration) Bagrypsta was 909 inhabitants, of which 651 people - Armenians (71.6%), 192 people - Russian (21.1%), 21 people - Greeks (2.3 %), 16 people - Ukrainians (1.8%), 14 people - Abkhazians (1.5%), 2 people - Georgians (0.2%), 13 people –others.
Village of Cold River renamed Bagrypsta according to the Resolution of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Abkhazia, December 4, 1992. According to the laws of Georgia continues to be known as the Cold River.
The guesthouse is located on the slope of the Gagra ridge on the banks of the river Bagerepsty surrounded by palm trees, rhododendrons and oleanders.
