CCI of Abkhazia took part at the 23-d International Black Sea Club Assembly in Varna

The opening ceremony of anniversary meeting of the International Black Sea Club

Assembly was held today in Varna City, International Black Sea Club whose member is Sukhum-the capital of Abkhazia, since 2007.

Today the IBSC celebrated 20 years since the establishment. “It is very important to stress sizeable contribution of IBSC to the economic development and cultural and educational cooperation of the whole black sea basin”-signed in his speech the mayor of Varna City Mister Kiril Iordanov. Along with Sukhum City, the mayors of other cities and representatives of municipality of more than 10 cities of Russia, Ukraine, PMR, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Romania took part at the anniversary meeting. The delegation from Abkhazia is headed by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Gennadiy G.Gaguliya.

The issues of development and cooperation of cities-members of the Club were considered at the meeting as well as there were discussion of the creation of the consolidated layout of health resort and recreational development of the cities and off-shore territories of the Azov-Black Sea basin.

At the meeting the issue on IBSC staff broadening was discussed and nowadays the applications on affiliation to the Club of Sochi, Tuapse, Gelendjik, Anapa are considered.

At the end of the first day meeting the decision on conducting the next 24th IBSC Assembly was made. The next meeting will be held in Rostov.

Tomorrow the delegation of CCI of RA will take part at the regular meeting of the non-commercial Partnership on development of the entrepreneurship “Business Council of the international Black Sea Club (BCIBSC), whose member CCI of RA became in 2007.
