The delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia headed by its President Tamila Mertskhulava takes part in the XX International Trade Fair (VIETNAM EXPO HCM 2022) which takes place in one of the most powerful southern regions of Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh.

The Abkhazian delegation conducts a general presentation of the Republic of Abkhazia and also presents samples of alcoholic products of the export-oriented enterprises. Among them are: limited liability companies "Wines and Beverages of Abkhazia", ​​"Chateau Abkhaz" and "Duripsh winery" as well as products of "Argun Iashta" the well-known producer. Alongside with alcoholic products the famous Abkhaz adjika "Amtsa" (LLC "Abkhazprodukt") is presented at the fair.

 
“Despite the current international situation, the Chamber's exhibition activities aimed at strengthening business cooperation with Asian countries continue actively. Hopefully in the near future Vietnam will become one of the key partners in the field of economic and comprehensive cooperation" the CCI President Tamila Mertskhulava says.

According to the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry participation in the fair allows Abkhazian exporting manufacturers to receive the following benefits:

– expand the geography of alternative export supplies which means opening a promising market for the sale of products (the population of Vietnam is about 100 million people);
– the possibility of organizing parallel imports;
- to attract labor resources;
- to attract potential investors for the implementation of projects in the territory of Abkhazia in order to create joint ventures.

More than 1000 companies of various fields of activity are represented at the fair in Ho Chi Minh City.
