The Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Association of Chambers of Commerce of India signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Association of Chambers of Commerce of India have signed an Memorandum of Understanding. This Memorandum will enable entrepreneurs of Abkhazia and India to interact with the business-communities of both countries.

The Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Abkhazia is ready to support and assist entrepreneurs in establishing mutually beneficial bilateral contacts. «For the Republic of Abkhazia th;e cooperation with the Association of Chambers of Commerce of India is the first step towards the development of trade- and economic relations between our countries," said the President of the CCI of RA Gennady Gaguliya.

The Association of Chambers of Commerce of India-ASSOCHAM began its work in 1920 and includes more than four Chambers of Commerce and trade-associations. It serves more than  400 Chambers and Trade Associations , and serving more than 4 million representatives of business in India,representing interests of trade and commerce in India and interacting with the Government of India on policy issues, liaising  with their international counterparts to promote trade between India and other nations. The Association contributes to the rise of the Indian economy and plays an important role in the development of the trade- and economic environment of the country.

 ASSOCHAM has geared itself to leverage its strength of its exhaustive understanding of various global markets and provides strategies and opportunities to its members for overall development and optimized usage of “Knowledge Based Recourses”.

"Partnership with this organization opens huge perspectives for the formation and development of business-relations between the business-circles of the Republic of Abkhazia and India. The Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Abkhazia is ready to consider an application for participation in an upcoming official business-mission to India, which it plans to organize in the near future," said the president of the CCI of RA  Gennady Gaguliya.
