June 22 marked the 85th anniversary of the birth of journalist, writer and public figure Anatoly Vozba.

The Union of Journalists of Abkhazia held an evening of memory of the journalist, writer and public figure Anatoly Vozba.

The participants of the evening - journalists who worked with him in the newspaper "Bzyb", writers, activists of the People's Forum of Abkhazia "Aidgylara", friends shared their memories of Anatoly Vozba. They noted that Anatoly Vozba was one of the brightest representatives of the country, who defended the legitimate right of the Abkhaz people to self-determination, to preserve their identity.

The talented journalist and writer Anatoly Vozba was remembered by everyone due to his clearly expressed vital position at a time when the country was in a rather tense socio-political situation and the pressure on Abkhazia from Georgia was constantly growing.

"During his work as deputy editor of the newspaper" Bzyb ", it became the most widely read not only in Abkhazia, but also abroad, since it was in this newspaper that materials were published that expressed the views of the participants in the national liberation movement of Abkhazia," noted the chairman of the Union of Journalists of the Republic Ruslan Hashig.
