The meeting was held between the representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia in Turkey Gunda Ankvab and representatives of Turkish company “Texta Global”.

“Texta Global” was founded in Istanbul in 2021. “Texta Global” is an independent research center operating under the auspices of “Texta Agency”.

Earlier, the representative of the CCI shared information on the history, general economic indicators of the Republic of Abkhazia and its tourism potential.

According to Gunda Ankvab, the Turkish side was interested in products imported to the Republic of Abkhazia and exported from it.

During the meeting, the representative of the Chamber noted that a large Abkhaz diaspora lives in Istanbul, Sakarya, Bursa and Kayseri.

The meeting participants raised the issue of healthcare, opening private clinics in Abkhazia and attracting qualified foreign doctors to the republic.

In addition, the Turkish side was interested in the issues of entry to the republic and obtaining visas, as well as the acquisition of real estate.

At the end, the parties expressed gratitude to each other for organizing the meeting and noted their readiness to continue negotiations and cooperation.
